8pp concertina style leaflet and a 16pp booklet
Steel & Jelly are a gentlemen’s fashion clothing brand, based in the West Midlands. Established in 2004, their philosophy centres on scrupulous attention to detail and every item they produce is made with the modern-day gentleman in mind.
Steel & Jelly needed marketing collateral for use at their store in Grand Central, Birmingham, and at exhibitions. They needed something that reflected the brand’s quality and attention to detail but they also needed it quick.
After an initial discussion to ascertain their requirements, Jelly & Steel favoured the idea of an A6 Look Book and an A5 48pp brochure. We met with Steel & Jelly on a number of occasions to show them mock-up samples on different materials. The samples illustrated the visual impact of uncoated stock, compared with matt coated stock.
After seeing the samples, Jelly & Steel opted for an 8pp concertina style leaflet and a 16pp booklet. At a later date, we also produced an A5 48pp booklet for them.
The finished products provided the company with a visual presentation of their range of gentlemen’s clothing and accessories in a traditional, yet contemporary, format which they were very pleased with. We were also able to turn these around very quickly.
Kiran Kang from Steel & Jelly commented, "PMR Print Solutions came in and discussed our requirements professionally and came back quickly with samples of different materials for our Look Books and brochures. We were very pleased with the quality of the finished product, as well as the advice provided and overall level of customer service.”
Nestled in the Canwell Valley on a 60-acre site, Buzzards Valley Vineyard, produce award-winning wines and gins. Established in 2001, Buzzards Valley has grown to develop six fishing lakes and a successful retail and online shop, alongside its winery and distillery.
PMR Print Solutions have been printing materials for Buzzards Valley for a number of years and we were delighted when Pete Viggers from Buzzards Valley, asked us if we could supply embroidered workwear. They required some replacement Polo shirts for their key staff, to help promote their brand when attending markets and serving customers at their premises.
We were able to match their previous make of garment and embroider them with their updated logo.
They were very pleased with the finished products, and turnaround time, and subsequently ordered some fleeces, body warmers and baseball caps in the same branding, to equip them for the Winter.
Pete Viggers, seen here sporting some of the new attire, commented, "We are all delighted with the new uniforms. They are warm and comfortable and have a great feel to them. I am sure that they will help us through the winter months, and we all look very smart."
The Care First Group was established in 1996 with the aim to improve the quality of life through vocational training for adults 16+ with learning difficulties/disabilities, autism, mental health and behaviours of concern. Today, there are three businesses that form The Care First Group – Community Prospects CIC Ltd; Care First Limited; and Skills Tank.
PMR Print Solutions have been supplying the Care First Group with their embroidered Polo shirts and fleeces for a few years now. These are worn principally by their support staff, who find them practical as well as a good advertisement for the company, through the fun Skills Tank multi-coloured hands logo, which is brightly embroidered on the front of the garment. The company provides these shirts as everyday workwear garments and some of the staff have even added to their numbers by purchasing extra ones themselves.
Neil Thorogood, Finance and Business Development Director for The Care First Group commented, "Not only have we been impressed with the quality of the garments sourced, but the fact that PMR achieve this at very competitively obtained prices. Delivery turnarounds are always quick and we would have no hesitation in recommending PMR as first class suppliers of workwear."
PMR Print Solutions have also printed the company’s main marketing brochure, that showcases all of their main services, with colourful examples of some of their students’ activities and workshops within their Skills Tank division. The brochure was updated earlier this year to reflect the increased scope of their 11 hub centres across the West Midlands, offering invaluable training support for their adult students with learning difficulties."
Neil added, "PMR take the time to advise and consult on the company’s printed materials, especially the brochures, so as to ensure the impact is effective. PMR then deliver extremely high quality, competitively priced brochures and other marketing materials on time and with excellent customer support. Unlike most printers, they take the time to ensure they understand the business and how to maximise the impact of marketing materials."
