Steel & Jelly are a gentlemen’s fashion clothing brand, based in the West Midlands. Established in 2004, their philosophy centres on scrupulous attention to detail and every item they produce is made with the modern day gentleman in mind.

Steel & Jelly needed marketing collateral for use at their store in Grand Central, Birmingham, and at exhibitions. They needed something that reflected the brand’s quality and attention to detail but they also needed it quick.

After an initial discussion to ascertain their requirements, Jelly & Steel favoured the idea of an A6 Look Book and an A5 48pp brochure. We met with Steel & Jelly on a number of occasions to show them mock-up samples on different materials. The samples illustrated the visual impact of uncoated stock, compared with matt coated stock.

After seeing the samples, Jelly & Steel opted for an 8pp concertina style leaflet and a 16pp booklet. At a later date, we also produced an A5 48pp booklet for them.

The finished products provided the company with a visual presentation of their range of gentlemen’s clothing and accessories in a traditional, yet contemporary, format which they were very pleased with. We were also able to turn these around very quickly.
